Great place to go! The tap list is great and the food is excellent! Different daily specials, etc. Plenty of seating inside, very clean. Every time I've ever been there the service has been extremely excellent. Prices are not bad. Definitely recommend.

A great place to come and have a drink. Pricing is fair, place is clean, bartenders are friendly. I've found the food to mostly be good. The wings are tasty and huge, I highly recommend. I will say, my personal experience when ordering from the man with red hair who works often is that you need to be overly clear when ordering. I ordered a grilled chicken salad, he asked if I was sure I wanted grilled, I said yes, it came out with fried. Not a huge deal, but I will be double clear with him in the future.

I absolutely recommend this place. I actually made an account just to write this review. The only thing that matches the fantastic food is the staff. They're always amazing and really friendly when I come in. They always have wonderful recommendations. I haven't tried a single thing on the menu that I didn't love. This place is a gym in Longview. The portions are extremely generous and worth the price along with the amazing quality. If you haven't tried this place you should. I recommend it to all my friends and family. Giving four stars for certain reasons. The Shammy used to be pretty fun and it is one of the only bars with a pool table, which is awesome! But it's become a very old person bar. Still a ton of fun, and you always run into some people from high school or whatever so it's great! I've really only ever gone at night time and on weekends, and it's always been fun for a few, but then it hits a point where it's time to hop to the next bar. If you're looking to make friends or anything, it's not the Shammy. I tried breakfast for the first time here on Saturday night and it's another partial reason for my 4 star. My step dad & I met up with my brother and his two friends (who already ordered/got their food) and then we both ordered. My dads food came, then I watched 3 other tables get food.. and I got confused. We finally asked and the guy said he never put it in.. no apology or anything, just said "I'll put it in now". Not mad, was just a little disappointed by this cause I really like most the tenders at the local bars in Longview. Anyhoo, typically always a great time. Love that there are two pool tables, again, because it's really one of the only bars with pool. I would definitely recommend checking it out. (:
